INFO & downloads

Course Outline

Take a gander at what we’ll be covering during the ten weeks of the course.

Class Schedule

I recommend printing the class schedule for reference during the course. It includes all the days you will be receiving lessons, the days your assignments are due, and the days feedback videos are posted.

SUMMARY

• LESSONS are delivered on Mondays and Thursdays.

• ASSIGNMENTS are due on Wednesdays and Sundays.

• FEEDBACK is posted on Mondays and Thursdays.

Mentor Text and Library List

You will definitely need a copy of THE GRUFFALO by Julia Donaldson. I refer to this book several times during the course.

You may also wish to download the Library List. This is a list of all books referenced and/or excerpted in the lessons. While not entirely necessary, many students like to have the whole book on hand.

How the Lyrical Language Lab Works

I produced this video with my first co-teacher, Laura Salas. Although your LLL session may or may not have a co-teacher, the information remains the same. The video will give you an overview of how the course works and hopefully answer questions right up front.
