PEEK & CRITQUE is a series of videos

in which I use your submitted work as a basis for more deeply exploring concepts taught in the Lyrical Language Lab online course. 

You do not need to have taken my course to participate. This service is open to ALL kidlit writers.

4-5 stanzas of your rhyming picture book manuscript

100 words of your prose manuscript (PB, MG, YA)

your general or specific questions about rhyme, meter, diction, or any other language-level concept

ready to join the fun?

Submitting work to Peek & Critique does not guarantee that your work will be featured in a teaching video, nor does it entitle you to personalized feedback of any kind. Selections will be made based on the needs/themes of the videos.

The box you checked on the submission form gives me permission to use your work ONLY in Peek & Critique YouTube videos, at my discretion. I do try to notify writers if/when I use their submissions.

A general copyright notice will be placed on all writing submissions and will be visible in the videos. You retain all rights to your submissions.
